"text": "Welcome to Climbopedia Climbopedia aims to provide structured and accessible knowledge for climbers. The project is still in its early stages. Many things have yet to be written, illustrated and refined. The Climbopedia Team is currently focusing on the singlepitch section. If you would like a quick overview, check the table of content below. Stay tuned! 2025-11-16 - Updated mediawiki from 1.44.0 to 1.44.2, working on backups. Opened the discussions. 2025-11-15 - Lowering a lead climber from an anchor - Redrawing done. Debugging of the design for desktop + search bar. Working on backups. 2025-11-11 - Lowering a lead climber from an anchor - split into two pages (separated the quick method, reworked the core description, used safebiner for attaching to the rope. Methods for maillons and bolts are yet to be redrawn. 2025-11-09 - New Vector 2022 based design for Desktop (Minerva is still default on Mobile). 2025-11-02 - Added Review state explanation and templates for infoboxes. 2025-11-01 - Lowering a lead climber from an anchor - made description of the robust and of the quick method, added citations, adjusted background for mobile phone usage Climbing and mountaineering are dangerous sports.
