Singlepitching is a lead-climbing discipline where you climb from ground to a single anchor point. If there are multiple anchor points on the route, it is called Multipitching.

Prerequisities

To perform singlepitching safely, one must learn the following techniques.

Clipping ( clipping, quickdraw safe use, Carabiner#Safe-use_recommendations)

Lead-climb Belaying

Lead-climb foot placement

Anchor (and setting-up a toprope)

Cleaning-up the anchor and get lowered

Abseiling

Bailing a route from a single bolt
